How to select the right LED display

Six factors that determine which board is right for your site. Answer these before requesting a quote and we can turn around a proposal in 24 hours.

Location
Decide if the display is indoor, outdoor, or semi-outdoor. This drives brightness (nit), IP rating, and cabinet construction. Outdoor needs 6000+ nit and IP65. Indoor can be lower brightness with finer pitch.

Viewing distance
Pixel pitch in mm ≈ minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres. P4 looks crisp from 4 m away. For close-range viewing (under 3 m), choose P2.5 or finer. For long-range outdoor, P6–P10 is sufficient and more cost-effective.

Wall size & structure
Our standard cabinet is 960 × 960 mm. Final wall size should be a multiple of this. We provide structural drawings, mounting hardware, and civil drawings for all installation types — wall-mounted, freestanding, or suspended.

Content type
Static text and parameter values need a simpler controller. Full video requires higher bandwidth. Real-time industrial data (SCADA, PLC, 4–20 mA) needs our industrial display controller with native signal input — no PC required.

Maintenance & support
Ask about AMC (annual maintenance contracts), spare parts availability, and on-site response time. Our 3-year warranty covers parts and labour. AMC available after warranty period with guaranteed response within 48 hours.
